It was a privilege to represent CAE at this year’s RSA Conference in San Francisco—a global stage where the future of cybersecurity is being defined. During the session, we were joined by key Cisco leaders: Scott Manson, Director of Cyber Security and Digital Resilience; Lothar Renner, Vice President Cisco Security EMEA; Scott Stout, Security Chief Revenue Officer; and Brian Feeney, VP of Worldwide Security Partner Sales. The depth of insight and strategic clarity from the Cisco team was inspiring, and it’s clear our partnership is built on a shared commitment to innovation and growth.

Driving Joint Growth in Security

At the heart of our conversation was a mutual commitment to continued growth in the cybersecurity space. With market needs evolving rapidly, we discussed how our teams can better align to bring advanced, scalable, and customer-focused security solutions to the forefront—solutions that are not only resilient but forward-thinking in design and deployment.

Innovation at the Core

Much of our dialogue focused on innovation—how we can harness the momentum of today's technological advancements and lessons learned to deliver impactful outcomes for our customers. At CAE we continue to be dedicated to remaining on the leading edge, working hand-in-hand with Cisco to turn innovation into tangible business value.

Hypershield: A Transformative Opportunity

One of the most exciting elements of our conversation was around the joint plan for Cisco’s Hypershield—a next-generation security framework that promises to make a significant impact. The potential here is enormous, and our collaborative approach means we can accelerate adoption and deliver meaningful outcomes to our customers.

Disruptive Messaging: Making It Count

RSA Conference always brings fresh thinking, and this year was no exception. We explored how Cisco’s newlyImage (63) unveiled messaging can help us disrupt the competitive landscape. There were some fantastic ideas shared—ideas that are already shaping fast-moving plans to turn insight into action. The energy around this topic was great to see and be part of, and it was clear we’re aligned on taking bold steps forward.

Partnership in Action: Local Impact with Cisco UK

The conversation also reinforced our strong relationship with the Cisco UK team. We discussed the importance of ‘smashing glass’—our shared metaphor for pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo. It’s this spirit of relentless innovation that we believe will unlock growth for our customers.

Global Recognition, Local Commitment

We were proud to be recognised by Cisco’s US Executive team as a top eight global innovation partner—a testament to the hard work, creativity, and determination of the entire CAE team. It’s a status we are deeply committed to maintaining, and one that fuels our ambition to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

In summary, the meeting with Cisco reaffirmed just how powerful our partnership has become. As we move into the next phase of our collaboration, we do so with confidence, purpose, and a shared vision for delivering cutting-edge security solutions that transform outcomes for our customers across the globe.
