What is HIMSS INFRAM?

 

NHS England have mandated that all NHS Trusts in the UK must have an EPR (Electronic Patient Record) in place by March 2025 and a Digital Strategy by December 2023. A daunting challenge. The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society’s (HIMSS) EMRAM (Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model) focusses on EPR – but how do you build a house without the foundations?

This is where INFRAM comes in.

INFRAM is an independent assessment that measures your infrastructure’s digital maturity. Split into five domains, the assessment aims to give Healthcare Trusts a better understanding of how their infrastructure measures against pre-defined HIMSS standards.
