Treasury Manager

The Role

As Treasury Manager you will be responsible for the Group’s cash and liquidity position including day to day management of operations ensuring processes and activities are both compliant and in line with company policy and procedures. The role also requires you to lead the reporting and forecasting cycles including statutory and management whilst partnering the business to always ensure best outcomes and to deadline. Lastly, the role will need the Treasury Manager to seek out, identity and integrate best practice within the CAE treasury function on both its policies and processes also using external sources where necessary.

What you will be doing?
• Responsible for the management of the company’s cash and liquidity position ensuring efficiency and adherence to Group policy is met
• Manage the day to day banking requirements, including but not limited to:
o Movement of cash within Group accounts
o Reviewing and processing supplier payments, payroll and expenses, HMRC transfers, advances and other payments as required including scheduling of payments in advance
o Credit card payments and timely receipt of invoices
o Management of the Direct Debit process
o Settlement of monthly intercompany balances
• Review the daily and month end bank reconciliations, and verify posting of exceptional items
• Manage the ID facility including daily availability, draw down, monthly reconciliation and ensuring that any CAE convenance obligations are met
• Lead, develop and maintain the treasury forecasting models including regular update of the rolling 13-week cash forecast
• Act as decision support for the wider CAE business on treasury related topics through the provision of analytical review and insight, as well as the provision of meaningful commentary around impacts
• Drive the production of treasury reporting for both management and statutory accounts ensuring that the data provided is accurate and produced in a timely fashion to tight deadlines
• Manage administration and execution of FX contracts, credit risk and interest rate management
• Monitor any CAE loans, ensure the timely scheduling of repayments and reconcile account balances
• Drive Treasury and risk management best practice through periodic review of policies and processes for core activities, leveraging both external and industry led sources
• Responsible for the compliance and administration of user access to treasury related systems including bank and credit card accounts as well as the upkeep of approvers list
• Manage international accounts ensuring that regional compliance is adhered too
Engage in other ad-hoc projects as and when required

What is needed?
• Qualified accountant/treasury qualification
• Treasury Management background in a multinational corporation preferably with transformation experience
• Experience of invoice discounting
• Proven decision maker on treasurer related matters
• Demonstrable experience of working with treasury policy and compliance processes
• Strong working knowledge of FX Risk and Cash Management
• Treasure forecasting and reporting experience
• Worked in a multicurrency environment
• Confident and articulate with ability
• High performing individual with solid career progression
• Logical and methodical with excellent attention to detail
• Strong application skills: Highly proficient in Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint and Word
