Remote with Occasional Travel to CAE offices

The Role

This role will require a highly driven performer with a proven track record in building and maintaining a strong network of internal and external relationships. You will need to be confident and successful in ensuring a personal and team gross profit and services targets are hit or exceeded.

The role will report into the Head of Private Sector and be required to add value from day one while concurrently leading and developing a high performing sales team.

What you will be doing?

This role will entail training, both within and outside of CAE, covering sales and interpersonal skills and vendor solutions.

Your main responsibilities will include;

• Leading and developing a high performing sales team
• Playing a key part in growing the sales team through ongoing recruitment and selection
• Developing a sales strategy to achieve the required objectives and targets in line with the annual business review
• Building and maintaining strong partner vendor relations
• Working closely with the Head of Private Sector to set and review annual targets
• Key stakeholders are sales operations and marketing
• Be point of escalation for their Sales Team (including but not limited to; customer or partner queries, performance concerns etc)
• Providing coaching, mentoring and guidance to ensure outlined KPIs are achieved
• Confidently collating data from Salesforce to accurately report and analyse to identify any issues
• Create, maintain and regularly update own Personal Development Plan with timescales on own ‘self-learning’ areas and objectives

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent command of MS Office Packages (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel) and Salesforce
• Over 5years B2B sales manager experience and commercial awareness
• Strong analytical skills
• Robust networking, relationship and interpersonal skills
• Educated to at least degree level or equivalent
• IT Sales/vendor qualifications


• Proven track record of managing and developing a successful sales department within the IT reseller industry
• Data Analysis Qualification
• Coaching/mentoring qualification or equivalent
