Desk Based Service Consultant

We are looking to recruit for a Desk Based Service Consultant. The role of the Desk Based Service Consultant​ will be to provide a varied role in supporting Service Design, Service Transition and Service Management activities across CAE’s customer base. Their role will be to identify, design, and build low level Managed Services models based on customer requirements from within CAE’s service capabilities.


Service Design

  • Support Sales teams in gathering customer requirements for Managed Services calls and video conferencing
  • Support Service Consultants in large tender or customer opportunities
  • Review customer provided data and identify options for meeting customer demands through CAE’s published Service Catalogue
  • Build cost models for Managed Service opportunities
  • Analyse requirements and respond to tenders with suitable wording and cost models
  • Build, tailor and provide proposal responses for Managed Services based on CAE’s Service Catalogue


Knowledge & Experience

  • Understanding of IT outsource Services
  • Understanding of ITIL
  • Understanding of Sales Cycles
  • Based understanding of IT technology (Networking, Server, Storage and Desktop)


Qualifications & Training

  • ITIL Foundation (minimum) or equivalent
