This year, we are attending the RSA Conference 2025 in San Francisco, one of the premier events for cybersecurity innovation and collaboration.
While some of the discussions are yet to be publicly announced, we’re excited to share some key highlights and broader themes from the sessions myself and our Sales Director Chris Smith have attended.

Our day kicked off with an AI Defence Workshop hosted by Cisco as part of RSA. Led by DJ Sampath, the session explored how Cisco is developing protections against emerging AI-specific threats.
While AI applications must meet the same core security requirements as traditional apps, they also introduce new, distinct risks. For example, Cisco’s research revealed that compromising as little as 0.01% of an AI model’s training data can significantly skew its outputs—an eye-opening reminder of the evolving threat landscape.
Building on the AI Defence theme, we then participated in strategic discussions about how CAE and Cisco could work together to bring AI Defence solutions to market, helping our customers safeguard their AI investments with cutting-edge security measures.
Later, we had the opportunity to meet with Sanjay Aggarwal (Vice President, Product Management & Strategy, Security Business Group at Cisco). Our conversations focused on CAE's success with Cisco Security Suites and how we can strengthen joint go-to-market efforts, particularly emphasizing solutions like Duo Security.
Next, we connected with Matt Caulfield (VP of Product, Identity) to explore the "better together" strategy between Cisco and Microsoft, and how it can be leveraged to benefit CAE’s customers. We also discussed how the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) has moved under Matt’s leadership within the Security Business Group, and shared perspectives on how CAE’s experience with ISE fits into a future roadmap focused on cloud-managed security solutions.
We wrapped up the day with an in-depth session with Jacob Rapp (Senior Director, Product Management, Hypershield). We discussed the development roadmap for Cisco Hypershield and how it aligns with CAE’s customer requirements.
Innovations like autonomous segmentation and automated vulnerability protection are particularly exciting and highly relevant to many of our customers' future needs.
We will share more about the latest announcements and our experience shortly, keep an eye on our blog and LinkedIn for further updates!
