This year, Cisco Live 2025 San Diego promises to be filled with the latest technology announcements that can support customers achieve amazing outcomes. With AI anticipated to take centre stage, our Senior Solutions Architect Colin Barber, shares his highlights from the week so far!

As soon as we touched down earlier this week,  we have really taken this opportunity to immerse ourselves in all things Cisco. I am joined this week by two of our customers, Karl and Grant from our customer Kings College London, and 22,000 others! A huge global event that is not one to be missed.

This event, gives myself and the team from KCL, the chance to really delve deep into their infrastructure roadmap with Cisco Product Managers. As well as being able to see and visualise in their own environment everything from cabling to state-of-the-art data centre designs for the deployment of generative AI applications.

Earlier in the week on Monday evening, we attended the Cisco VIP Customer Event aboard the iconic USS Midway aircraft carrier. It was a fantastic space to hold this incredible event and really gave Cisco a great platform to share a range of of new products launching soon, including Live Protect.

Live Protect will allow customers to deploy compensating controls to a hardware vulnerability with one click, with no downtime. AI Canvas is a revolutionary new tool that can instantly create custom dashboards and pull together data and visualisations on the fly, making collaboration between NetOps, SecOps and DevOps seamless.

We also  learnt that a full portfolio of next-generation devices that are purpose-built to meet the demands of AI workloads is coming, which will be Cisco's biggest refresh of core networking devices in a decade!

Keep an eye out for my next blog coming later this week when I share the rest of the highlights from this week.
